Extreme Makeover in Victoria with WesternOne

Here in Victoria BC we have the Casa Maria Emergency Housing Society and recently they did an “Extreme Makeover” theme type renovation on a single family dwelling to modernize and enable or offer emergency housing for a few families in transition. We were fortunate to supply, deliver and donate the use of an aerial lift for the work and a few of our staff were present along side of the many volunteers for the reveal of the completed facility during the Thanksgiving Weekend Nov 2009.

Bright Lights and Christmas Trains from WesternOne

This holiday season, WesternOne is yet again very proud to be part of two iconic Vancouver light displays. We are Silver Sponsors of the “Bright Nights in Stanley Park” put on by the

WesternOne Joins Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce

WesternOne is now a member of the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce. WesternOne values the community as a place where we operate and live. Joining the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is just one way we give back and are involved in our community.

Lights of Hope - Friday, November 21st @ 7pm

The 2008 Lights of Hope fundraising campaign is well underway. This year’s fundraising goal is $2.1 million. Since 1998, the annual Lights of Hope campaign has raised more than $10 million to help fund patient care, research and education initiatives at St. Paul’s Hospital.

Our dedicated volunteers are already hard at work setting up this year’s light display using donated materials in front of the hospital. The 2008 display will turn on for the first time November 21 and will stay lit until January 5.

The colourful courtyard display which recognizes donors to the Lights of Hope fundraising campaign will now remain up until the end of March 2009.
