WesternOne Rentals & Sales supports Langley’s Premiere Wheelchair Basketball Team- the Langley Gold Rush Wheelchair Basketball Club.
WesternOne Rentals & Sales proudly supports the Langley Gold Rush Wheelchair Basketball Club in their inaugural year. They are Langley’s first wheelchair sports club. WesternOne’s contributed to the Langley Gold Rush team being the first local junior wheelchair basketball program in BC to get jerseys.
In their first season, the Langley Gold Rush welcomed players aged 10 to adult at all levels of play to Alex Hope Elementary in Langley for practice.
WesternOne’s Mitch Kosterman, along with his family and son, who are all wheelchair basketball enthusiasts, were integral to the set-up of this promising wheelchair basketball program. Jack, Mitch’s 12-year old son, is one of the team’s pioneer players. He brings with him his point guard experience as a member of the BC Wheelchair basketball team who competed in the Canada Winter Games in Halifax earlier this year.
