Trained workers are confident workers

Get your staff trained, confident and able to use construction equipment before sending them out to the field. WesternOne recognizes the importance of hands-on training, so we combine industry-recognized training materials with practical training on the equipment. All of our training programs cover operator responsibility, equipment familiarization, theory testing, and a practical evaluation. This hands-on approach ensures that not only do your employees understand the theory, but they also know how to apply it in the real world, and are ready to go on their first day using the equipment.

Attendees should set aside a full day for this training, and morning snacks are provided. Due to the practical portion of the training, attendees will be required to bring necessary PPE:

  • Steel-toed boots
  • Safety glasses
  • Reflective vest
  • Safety harness (optional)

Training is available at WesternOne locations across Alberta on the following topics:

  • Scissor Lift and Boom Lift equipment
  • Variable Reach Forklifts (Telehandlers)
  • Counterbalance Forklifts
  • Construction Heater Safety
  • Fall Protection
